Watching her grow

As I sit her typing this I am amazed at what our little girl can do now. There was a time were her every need was on us, now I can do dishes, vacuum, and use the computer while she plays. It is a sad thing, but also a very happy and proud thing. She really is into playing with her toys and she even invites me to play. I get to knock on the door of her play houses with her little guys, and then she takes them. She counts to ten, knows her abc's, and even can use some sign language. I attribute all this to the fact she gets to go to grandma's and not day care because she gets one on one help with everything. I watch as her voice and words change, as she asks to go to grandma's house to see the dogs. It is amazing to me. I wouldn't change the past, but I will try to impact the future in a positive way. I realize now that family is the most important thing in the world, so there is no time to figure it out. You make this commitment the day they are born. I am going to be the best role model I can be, and continue to watch her grow.
